Nodame Cantabile Bag

I finally finished my nodame cantabile bag! It took about 3 days to make. As you can see in the picture I added some things like inside pockets, a side zipper w/pouch and a leather bottom to make it more durable. The handles are also leather like the real bag. The lining on the inside of the bag is another black fabric- not felt. I actually got to see the real bag on the set of the new nodame movie ( I was an extra- a music student at the school in paris) The bag was made with felt which is what the actual bag is made of and it's the same dimensions as the real bag as well. If you want to buy the bag there are some sites out there but it's all pretty expensive, like around 7,900 yen which is about 79 dollars or so. My bag was around 30 dollars b/c the cost of materials in japan is super expensive compare to america. The bag was all hand sewn too- which took a long time!
